Returns and Exchange Policy

SHIPPING POLICY

Once the order is completed and paid for in our online store, the package will be shipped and delivered within 2 to 5 working days.

AVAILABILITY OF ITEMS

We do our best to keep our online inventory up to date, but sometimes an item you have ordered may not be available. We will contact you as soon as possible if anything prevents us from delivering your order.

SHIPPING

Online purchases are usually shipped by Canada Post when they meet weight and size constraints.

Delivery to Canada and USA only.

Tracking your order: Once the order has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email including a link to Canada Post.

 

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES POLICY

Whether you bought online or in-store, you can return the items to our store or by post, respecting the conditions below.

TIME LIMITS FOR EXCHANGING OR RETURNING AN ITEM

STORE PURCHASES

Any item exchange will be possible within ten days of purchase in-store. Items must be new, unworn and unused. Proof of purchase, original packaging and price tag are required. Sale items, jewelry and personal care, are final sales.

ONLINE SHOPPING

For online purchases, a refund may be requested for all items at regular price within 20 days of receipt of the order. According to the original payment method, the refund will be issued and processed upon receipt of a 6$ restocking fee (Canadian dollars will be charged and deducted when issuing the refund. Please note that exchanges are not possible for online purchases.

Sale items, jewelry and personal care, are final sales.

We reserve the right to refuse a return if the goods do not meet our return policy.

The original shipping costs are not refundable.

 

PROCEDURE FOR RETURNS

You can return items in-store or by post at your expense.

For all returns, please follow these steps:

1 /  Contact customer service at the addressinfo@lewalkin.online to obtain a return authorization. Please specify your order number and the reasons for the return.


2 / Attach your return authorization to your return package. If you cannot print your return authorization, please write down your order number and the reason for your return on a free letter.


3 / Send your return to the following address:

REQUIRED STATE OF ORIGIN

Products that have been returned must be in the same condition they were in when delivered to you and in their original packaging. If you are unsure of the state of the product you are returning, please contact our customer service first.

PROOF OF PURCHASE

Original invoices or cash register receipts are considered valid proof of purchase. A gift invoice is proof of purchase with which you can get an exchange or a credit note, but not a refund. Do not hesitate to contact our customer service in case of doubt or special situation.

THE CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RETURN

« The General Store of Old Montreal Inc. bears the transport costs insofar as the products ordered by you are delivered damaged or defective or with an error. Otherwise, you are responsible for the shipping, handling and packaging costs necessary to return an item.

CHANGE OR CANCELLATION OF YOUR ORDER

You can cancel your order at any time before it is processed by contacting our customer service. However, as soon as the order is shipped, we cannot cancel it. Please refer to the Returns section on this page for the procedure for returns.
